CAMBODIA

More training centres will come up in Preah Sihanouk to develop skilled local human resources, especially in science and modern technologies, for supporting the hi-tech industries at the proposed Model Multi-Purpose Special Economic Zone in the province. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith is this week leading a high-level Lao delegation attending an international conference designed to bolster efforts to put the graduation of Least Developed Countries back on track after they faced delays due to global upheavals. (Vientiane Times)

According to a recent Laos-China railway report, the railway also transported 417,400 passengers in the first two months of 2023, which is a 256.2 percent increase over the same period last year. (Laotian Times)
