CAMBODIA

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises constitute the backbone of Cambodia’s economy and account for 99.8 percent of its businesses. MSMEs provide 58 percent of GDP and 70 percent of total employment¹. 61 percent of these MSMEs are owned by women. (Khmer Times)

The Cambodian Mine Action Authority, Koh Kong provincial authority and TAFTAC officials have announced that Koh Sdach commune in Koh Kong province’s Kirisakor district is now mine-free. (Khmer Times)

MYANMAR

An announcement made by the Myanmar Rice Federation said that the rice and broken rice exports in February totalled 191,404 metric tons, a drop of 77,431 metric tons in comparison with the exports in January. (Mizzima)
