CAMBODIA

A case study conducted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has found that 60% of teachers and students across the country lack awareness about the side-effects of e-cigarettes. However, a whopping 89% of the students know they are available despite not being aware of their adverse impacts on health. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

Laos has climbed to 89th place out of 137 countries and territories in the global happiness ranking, up by six places from last year’s report when 146 countries were included. (Vientiane Times)

The Australian government is continuing to support Laos in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by providing Australian volunteers with specific skills and abilities to share lessons and work experience with public sector employees in Laos. (Vientiane Times)
