Two colleges in Laos and the Republic of Korea are partnering in a project to strengthen educational capacity and technical assistance to revive the tourism industry in the field of hotel management and tourism in Luang Prabang city. Luang Prabang Technical Vocational College and Kunjang University College in Korea launched the project last week. (Vientiane Times)

After three inspections, the European Commission said Việt Nam has made improvements in the process of removing illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing. The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade said an EC delegation will visit Việt Nam on May 25 to inspect the work carried out against IUU fishing. (Viet Nam News)
