At the meeting to review the current implementation of rural water supply and sanitation plan on June 14, it was shown that as of 2023, more than 90 percent of people living in rural areas have access to clean water and sanitation. The Royal Government has set a target that by 2025, all people in rural communities will have access to clean water, adequate sanitation and a sustainable living environment. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

The value of trade between Laos and Japan in 2022 was estimated at US$290.5 million, with imports valued at US$149.8 million and exports at US$140.6 million. Minister of Industry and Commerce Mr Malaythong Kommasith reported the figures when meeting with a Japanese delegation in Vientiane. (Vientiane Times)
