CAMBODIA

The ADB has approved a $100 million loan to enhance Cambodia’s labour force by addressing skills gaps through reforms in TVET. The Skills for Future Economy Sector Development Programme aims to transform Cambodia into a technology-driven, knowledge-based economy. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

The government is making progress under its strategy to create a digital economy, a digital society, and a digital government. Its work is driving the 20-year national digital economy development vision (2021-2040), 10-year national digital economy development strategy (2021-2030), and 5-year national digital economy development plan (2021-2025). VIET NAM

The Government will not change the growth target of 6.5 per cent for 2023 and strive to reach an economic expansion of about 9 per cent in the rest of the year, stated Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính at a cabinet meeting in Hà Nội. (Viet Nam News)
