CAMBODIA

Cambodia continued to pursue an independent foreign policy that upholds its core interests, guarantees sovereignty and peace, and boosts economic ties, Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn said. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

Construction of the Khamsavath railway station, situated on the Laos-Thailand Railway in inner Vientiane, is now complete and the station is slated to become operational in the near future. (Vientiane Times)
The Ministry of Health has issued regulations on the production and sale of hemp for medicinal purposes, in line with Lao, regional and global management rules. The regulations fall into five categories, namely cultivation; extraction, production and processing; storage; distribution and use; import, export and transportation. (Vientiane Times)

MYANMAR

Myanmar will be officially under military rule for six more months, the National Defense and Security Council has announced. The decision was made and announced on junta-controlled media. Ex-general Myint Swe, who heads the military-dominated NDSC as the regime’s acting president, announced the extension. (Irrawaddy)

VIET NAM

Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính highlighted creating more jobs, improving labourers’ skills and giving priority to solving the housing issues of workers as the key tasks of the labour sector during a meeting in Hà Nội. (Viet Nam News)
