People who live along the Xechamphone River in Savannakhet province and those who live in valleys in Khammuan province should be on the alert for landslides and flooding caused by heavy rain in the next one or two days, the Meteorology and Hydrology Department has warned. (Vientiane Times)

MYANMAR

Myanmar has announced a newly reshuffled State Administration Council led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing with the retirement of several ministers. Under the new council unveiled, the total number of persons included in the council was reduced to 18 from 20 with 16 of the key members remaining in place. (Xinhua)
