Cambodia’s energy supply has grown nine-fold in the past 15 years, from 490 MW in 2008 to 4,495 MW in 2022, thanks to the increasing investment in energy infrastructure development. Energy supply in 2022 increased by 12.6 percent from 3,990 megawatts a year earlier, according to a report from the Electricity Authority of Cambodia. (Khmer Times)

Cambodia’s exports of electrical machinery, equipment and their parts went up by 108.7 percent in the January to June first half (H1) of 2023 to reach $1.59 billion, compared to the same period last year, according to the latest trade data of the General Department of Customs and Excise.
