CLMV News (20 July 2023) CLMV Cambodia, Lao PDR, News, Viet Nam CAMBODIA Cambodia’s remarkable decline in poverty rate is a positive step towards the Southeast Asian country’s graduation from the Least Developed Country status, a United Nations official said. The poverty rate in Cambodia has declined to 16.6 percent in 2022 from 36.7 percent in 2014, as per the 2023 Global Multidimensional Poverty Index released last week by the United Nations Development Program and the University of Oxford.
