CAMBODIA

International trade for Cambodia amounted to $23.69 billion in the first six months of this year, a 13% decrease compared to the same period last year, the General Department of Customs and Excise report showed. (Khmer Times)

Rice output in East and South Asia is forecast at 695 million tonnes for the latest season, one percent below the record in 2021, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN said. (Khmer Times)

Education in Laos has had a boost in digitalisation, thanks to a handover of smart education tools from a company from the Republic of Korea, Ufit Co., Ltd., under the Global ESG+ Programme. Six sets of smart education tools consisting of dot pattern sheet paper, a digital pen and software worth US$9,120 were given to six faculties under National University of Laos. (Vientiane Times)
