Cambodia recorded some 2.57 million international visitors in the first half of 2023, a sharp increase of 409 percent from 506,762 over the same period last year, Tourism Minister Thong Khon said. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

The government will spend US$22.2 million and employ 18,000 officials to conduct the fifth national population and housing census, with the results to provide key statistics on demographic and socio-economic characteristics. (Vientiane Times)
