CAMBODIA

The FAO has kicked off a weeklong provincial level training workshop aimed at strengthening national capacity on analysis and interpretation of agricultural statistics and data. The workshop has been organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Statistics, the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and seeks ultimately to contribute to enhanced and informed agricultural planning and policy decision-making. Cambodia registered 3,037,344 international tourists in the first seven months of 2023, a significant rise of 308 percent from 743,459 over the same period last year, said a Ministry of Tourism’s report released. (Khmer Times)
