CAMBODIA: The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development will continue to provide technical support for Cambodia in order to realise its vision of becoming a high-income nation by 2050 (Khmer Times). The United Nations has committed to working with the National Committee for Disaster Management to cooperate on further development of disaster management projects to improve the early warning system for unprecedented natural disasters across the country (Khmer Times).
VIET NAM attracted 39,140 foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital of over US$468.91 billion by the end of 2023, said the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (Viet Nam News). Việt Nam’s agricultural sector has set a growth target between 3.2-4 per cent in 2024, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with total export turnover of some US$54-55 billion (Viet Nam News).
