CAMBODIA

  • NICEF held an event which brought together children, young people and supporters including senior figures from the Cambodian Government, representatives and entrepreneurs from the development and diplomatic community to celebrate World’s Children’s Day. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

  • Laos welcomed 1,701,806 tourists over the past nine months of this year, an increase of 39% compared to the same previous year, according to the information from the Tourism Marketing Department, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism. (KPL)

VIET NAM

  • Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has emphasised the need for breakthrough steps towards the goal of comprehensive, inclusive and sustainable development for the Tay Nguyen Central Highlands while chairing a conference in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, on November 20. (Vietnam Plus)
  • Digital transformation has been seen as an urgent need to help link small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with global trends. According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnam has approximately 900,000 operational businesses. More than 97% are SMEs that contribute up to 45% of the national GDP and 31% of the total budget collection. Together, these companies employ over 5 million labourers. (Vietnam Plus)
