CAMBODIA

  • Critics can say whatever they feel about Cambodia as this year’s Rotating Chair of ASEAN, but they definitely cannot deny the fact that the Cambodian government has done a great job of hosting the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit and other related meetings. (Khmer Times)

LAO PDR

  • Party chief Thongloun Sisoulith has told Party cadres to undertake six core missions, ranging from tackling corruption, reducing bureaucracy, and narrowing the development gap, in order to win on the political-ideological battlefield. (Vientiane Times)
  • The Government of Japan has decided to provide grant assistance worth USD 92,000 for the Project for Construction of Medical Waste Incineration Facility in Luang Prabang City in Luang Prabang Province through its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).  (KPL)

MYANMAR

  • Asean Chair Cambodia wishes to see more progress on the three priorities of the Five-Point Consensus (5PC) including building trust and confidence for an inclusive peace dialogue amid the upcoming third official trip of Asean Chair Special Envoy to crisis-hit Myanmar. (Khmer Times)

VIET NAM

  • Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has ordered a task force formed to analyse and help remove the challenges faced by the real estate sector. (Viet Nam News)
